Media at AEF-2010
This page is designed to make your life as a media representative easier and your participation in the Fly-In more pleasant.
Regardless of your previous Fly-Ins' experience or lack of thereafter, this page is designed to provide answers to most (and hopefully, all) of your questions.
Should you require additional information, please contact the Organization Committee and we will get back to you with the answer as soon as possible.
Accreditation is required for any media representative to participate in the Fly-In 2010.
Accreditation forms are available online and will be accepted for review from January 10, 2010 to June 1, 2010.
Before filling out the form, please familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations (see below).
We are looking forward to seeing you in June!
- In order to obtain accreditation, a media representative must be employed by or performing work on behalf of mass media sources of information.
Accreditation will not be extended to any family members, friends, co-workers, or any marketing and/or advertisement representatives.
- preliminary registration is highly recommended.
Due to high volume of petitions, our resources are limited and you may be denied simply because we did not have enough time to check the validity
and suitability of provided information.
- Forms without valid contact information are subject to automatic decline.
- Freelancing media representatives may obtain accreditation if a mass media company submits a registration form on their behalf.
- Filming crews (not mass media) are required to obtain permission at the organization committee.
- Only photographers employed by mass media are eligible for obtaining accreditation.
Any photography for future resale and/or other commercial use is strictly prohibited.
Please refer to the "Copyright and trademark protection rules and regulations of AEF-2010".
- Our Media Center will be accessible only to the accredited participants.
Due to a limited working space and to maintain a professional working atmosphere, no family members, friends, or co-workers will be allowed in the Media Center.
Same accredited-participants-only rule applies to the media-only breakfasts, gatherings and other sponsored events.
- We do not automatically grant accreditation to those working on behalf of Internet news sites, however, we realize that nowadays
Internet sites are one of the most popular information sources and will thoroughly review each application on a case-by-case basis.
- The quantity of Media passes per any representing mass media establishment will be regulated as viewed reasonable by the organization committee.
- Media representatives that have successfully completed preliminary registration will be granted access to all AEF-2010 press-releases and newsletters
from the Organization Committee covering the preparation stages of the event, the event itself, and the summary of the Fly-In.
- Organization Committee reserves a right to request additional information, and approve or decline an application as they deem necessary.
- By applying for accreditation, a mass media representative assumes responsibility to comply with the copyright and trademark protection rules and regulations of the AEF-2010.
To apply for accreditation, please fill out and submit the following registration form.
