In 1975 the government of Poland bought the company and moved it to Rzesz[ch243]w, first under the name PZL-Franklin and later simply PZL-F.
Franklin Engine Company (Franklin) of Syracuse, New York went out of business in the mid-1970’s. Ownership of the Franklin engine type certificates was subsequently transferred to PZL of Rzeszow, Poland.
The company is now called Franklin Aircraft Engines Sp. z o.o. with the address ul. Che[ch322]mi[ch324]ska 208 in 86-300 Grudzi[ch261]dz city in Poland.

Polish production of Franklin engines continued until 2002 when WSK-PZL
Полякам так и не удалось сделать мотор отвечающий современным нормам и победить болячки редуктора и масляных насосов. В 2002 году производство было прекращено....
И вот вдруг через 14 лет...

В 2016 новые двигатели демонстрировались в Фридсхафене.
Теперь вот компанию перепродают снова, непонятно кто. Поляки или американцы.
